Is there a free plan?
Yes — Free forever: unlimited journal + Gap Score, account management (incl. prop) for up to 5 accounts, overview stats, share cards and referrals. No card required to start.
What do I get in the 14-day trial?
The 14-day trial is the full Ultra experience — Gap Coach AI, prop advanced analytics, the macroeconomics command center, advanced psychology and AI forecasting — with a fair daily limit on AI questions. No card; if you don't subscribe when it ends, your account simply drops to Free.
What happens if I run out of AI?
Ultra is built to feel unlimited for normal use. There's a generous daily fair-use limit on the Gap Coach that resets every day, so if you ever reach it you're back the next morning — most people never do. Gap Coach AI is Ultra-only; Essential and Free don't include it.
Do you support prop-firm accounts?
Yes. The prop suite tracks firm rules — daily loss, max drawdown and targets — with a base breach guardrail showing your distance to the limits. Ultra adds predictive guardrails, pass-probability and optimal-risk analytics.
Can I import my existing trades?
Yes — import in bulk from a broker or platform CSV (Essential and up). Map your columns to TraderGap fields and re-uploading is safe: duplicate rows are detected automatically.
Is MetaTrader auto-sync included, or extra?
The one paid add-on is MetaTrader (MT4/5) auto-sync: $9/month per unique connected MetaTrader account, non-refundable. Everything else — futures, crypto, CSV upload and manual entry — is always free. You never pay to import trades yourself; the $9 is only for automatically syncing a live MetaTrader account.
What if I disconnect or reset a MetaTrader account?
You've paid for the month, so you can disconnect and reconnect the SAME MetaTrader account (same login/server) without paying again that month — handy if you cancel by mistake and re-add it, or reset a prop account keeping the same access. A NEW account (a different login — e.g. a fresh account after a failed challenge) is a new account and is charged again. The MetaTrader add-on is non-refundable; if you're refunded, that refund covers the base subscription only, not the add-on.
How does billing work — and can I cancel?
Billing runs on Stripe; manage it in Settings → Plan & billing. Switch between monthly and annual (annual is cheaper per month) and cancel anytime — cancelling stops the next renewal, keeps access to the end of the period, and never deletes your data.
Is my data private?
Your trades and journal are private to your account and protected by row-level security. Export your data or request deletion anytime, and we never sell your data.
Does TraderGap give trading advice?
No. TraderGap is an educational journal and review tool. The Gap Coach (Ultra) helps you review your own trades and psychology inside the app — it is not financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell.
